The Tunbridge Womens Group meets monthly, mostly, for themed potlucks that move from different homes all over the hills and valley of Tunbridge. All are welcome.
In addition, the Tunbridge Women’s Group maintains an email list for announcements related to the monthly potlucks and for folks to communicate with one another about matters large and small.
Ideas for emails
The goal of the email list is to increase our sense of community within the group; here are some ideas of things you might consider posting:
- announcements of community events open to the public
- invitations to concerts, plays, informal gatherings
- announcements by town organizations
- weather cancellations of town, school, community events
- items for sale or wanted by Tunbridge residents
- rides sought or offered (Gifford… WRJ… Boston… NYC…)
- living spaces for rent or sought
- lost or found pets
Instructions for emailing
To send a message to the list, first you must be a subscriber to the list. Visit tunbridgewomensgroup.com and click on the Subscribe by email ยป link on the right side; a small dialog will ask you for your email address. (If you have any trouble, email Jenna Dixon j@djinna.com for help.)
Once you’re on the list, to post just send an email to:
tunbridgewomensgroup@posterous.com
(Note: If you have more than one email address, your message has to be sent from the same email address that’ss subscribed to the list.)
Your message will get emailed out to all subscribers to the list. In addition, it will be added to the online archive at the TWG website.
You can also post a message to the group right from the TWG website. Just click on the login link at the top right and create an account here; then look for the “post by web” button on the left.
