Fuel Assistance Fund
The Tunbridge Fuel Assistance Committee is charged with administering no-interest loans to Tunbridge residents to buy necessary heating fuel. With fuel costs high and an economy that is less than vigorous, the need for the fund this winter will be greater than ever.
This is a loan, not a grant program, and the fund is made up entirely of individual donations. We look to those in the community that may be able to make donations to this fund. Check may be made out the “Town of Tunbridge”, with “Fuel Assistance” in the memo line, and donations may be sent to: Town Treasurer, P.O. Box 6; Tunbridge, Vt. 05077.
Potential fuel assistance candidates should first apply with the Central Vermont Community Action Council (CVCAC). The CVCAC site has the most up-to-date Application Packet on their website. For ease of use we have a copy of the packet in PDF which can be downloaded below.
