Saturday Sewing Circle
The Saturday Sewing Circle (SSC) is a multi-generational, non-political, varied skilled group of women who share the joy of needlecraft. While our projects are primarily patchwork — piecing and tying quilts for distribution locally and abroad. Participating ladies have fiber arts skills, from knitting, crocheting, rug hooking and braiding and other traditional needlework crafts; bring your individual projects and sit with us.
Meeting once a month at the Tunbridge Central School library, Elaine Howe opens the doors at 8 AM for the early birds and sessions ends at noon. The SSC is fortunate to have a large stash of fabric and other materials to work with — you need bring nothing but your willing hands. We welcome anyone (from anywhere) who is interested to attend, we love to share our skills and are always interested to hear about potential projects.
