Tunbridge Library

The library is across from the post office. The library provides a friendly resource for enrichment and discovery with an emphasis on fostering literacy and lifelong reading. The library maintains a well-balanced collection of books, magazines and audio-visual materials, supplemented through interlibrary loan services. Computers are available for patron use.

Library programs include story hours for school-age children and for infants and preschool children the first and third Thursdays of the month at 6:30 and a children’s summer reading program. Programs include book discussions; ongoing art exhibits; and Winter Evenings, a series of presentations by Vermonters on a range of subjects of interest, on the second and fourth Thursdays of January through March.

Everyone in the community is welcome to use library services. Home delivery will be arranged for anyone who would benefit. Volunteer opportunities are available for people of all ages and abilities. The library is a great place to get acquainted with the community.

2010 Winter Evenings Schedule

A series of talks guaranteed to keep the long, dark winter at bay. A diverse range of local speakers will discuss everything from manners to massacres and woodlands to weather. Come join friends and neighbors for six Friday evenings of entertainment and enlightenment.
