Central School

The Tunbridge Central School enrolls Tunbridge children in Kindergarten through Grade 8. Children must be 5 years old by September 1 for admission. The school is located in North Tunbridge on Route 110. School hours are 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. during the school year.

Faculty and staff of the TCS strive to promote excellence and encourage a love of learning. They demonstrate and encourage mutual respect among students, parents, faculty and community members. The Tunbridge Central School is a small, close-knit community where everyone is well known. The TCS cherishes its traditions and the school’s place in the community, and tries to provide opportunities for every child to develop to his/her fullest potential. In addition to a rich curriculum in the core subjects of reading, writing, math, science and social studies, students take classes in art, physical education, library, instrumental music, general music. Students also take field trips to museums, theater, mountain hikes, maple sugaring and more. The 8th graders culminate their years at TCS with a week-long trip to Washington, D.C. TCS also offers artist in residencies. Students may participate in after school sports, the One Planet after school program, Chess Club, band and more.

Tunbridge School Club

School Club is an organization dedicated to providing enrichment activities and services to students, families, staff and teachers at Tunbridge Central School. Anyone can participate and there are no membership dues. For more information, check the School Club page.
